Tracy, a Chicago area native, grew up spending her free time drawing Disney characters, creating caricatures, and brainstorming plots for animated shorts.

Matt, who hails from the suburbs of Washington D.C., was captivated by the computer dinosaurs in Jurassic Park and dreamed of creating the same on-screen magic.

Pursuing their passion for animation, Tracy and Matt ended up at the same art school. Ironically, despite floating in the same social circle for years, their paths never crossed. Then, fate played a hand when one of their mutual friends got them each a job at the same game studio…on the other side of the country.

There were only 20 employees so there was no escape this time. They worked together for a few years, grabbing drinks with colleagues after hours, singing karaoke at the office holiday party, and enjoying company game nights, until one day they decided to go to a football game together and “forgot” to invite anyone else.

Now married and parents to an amazing dog and cat, Matt works as a computer artist in the commercial industry, and Tracy, who transitioned away from the arts, is a dog trainer.

They enjoy road trips with their dog, cuddling with their cat, traveling abroad, cooking while listening to soul music, and, of course, getting back to their roots by using both their technical and hands-on art skills to make custom cake toppers for people’s special occasions.
